An easy and elegant summer table
Some table settings seem complicated but, in reality, have something much simpler behind them: a good selection of pieces. The key is to choose the elements you are going to use well and let each one have its own space.
With this table, which has a Mediterranean touch, we wanted to create a fresh, natural look that is very easy to replicate at home, to inspire you and encourage you to enjoy hosting guests.
The base: a tablecloth that sets the mood
The tablecloth is the first thing that defines the tone of the entire table. In this case, we opted for a 100% natural linen tablecloth with an ideal olive print, which provides a summery feel and Mediterranean vibes without being excessive. Furthermore, the matching olive napkins gave the table a spectacular touch.
A good trick is to choose a tablecloth with a background in natural colors: sand, off-white, or stone tones, which work especially well in summer, conveying light and freshness.
Colored glassware: the detail that transforms the table
Another of the special elements of this table are the green polycarbonate glasses and cups with a bubble effect. They add color, reflect the light, and give the table a spectacular touch. Furthermore, since they are made of polycarbonate, they are lightweight and shatterproof, also conveying an extra feeling of lightness to the table.
We often think we need huge centerpieces or a complex setting, when in reality, well-chosen glassware already creates a visually beautiful environment.
Centerpiece: less quantity, better selected
For the centerpiece, we opted for an iron structure with green candles that we filled with olive branches, matching the tablecloth and napkins, which we complemented with lemons to add a touch of color in a very natural way.
For this type of table in summer, we believe an important detail is to leave empty space on the table to provide an extra touch of freshness and naturalness, creating a very elegant result.
Neutral dinnerware to balance
When the tablecloth and the setting take center stage, the dinnerware works best in solid tones and simple shapes.
In this case, plates in stone or sand tones help balance the table visually and make the whole set look relaxed and sophisticated at the same time.
