
Half Moons
Its flavor is reminiscent of the legendary London butter biscuits, and remembering it with these wonderful cookies seems like the best plan!
INGREDIENTS:
- 200g butter
- 100g sugar
- 100g almond powder
- 350g flour
ELABORATION:
- Mix the butter, which we will have previously taken out of the refrigerator so that it has an ointment texture, with the sugar.
- Add the almond powder and finally, the flour
- Form some rolls and store them overnight in the refrigerator wrapped in a cloth or greaseproof paper.
- The next day, take the pasta out of the refrigerator and use a knife to cut small, equal portions. Using your hands, make small half-moon shapes (or whatever shape you like best!).
- Place them on a baking tray or rack lined with paper or a “silpat.”
- Place them in the oven preheated to 180º (fan) for 8–10 minutes
- Sprinkle with icing sugar
