Half Moons
Its flavour is reminiscent of the legendary London butter biscuits, and remembering it with these wonderful biscuits seems like the best idea to us!
INGREDIENTS:
- 200g butter
- 100g sugar
- 100g almond powder
- 350g flour
ELABORATION:
- Mix the butter, which we have previously taken out of the refrigerator so that it has a pomade texture, with the sugar.
- Add the ground almonds and finally the flour.
- Form some rolls and store them overnight in the refrigerator wrapped in a cloth or greaseproof paper.
- The next day, take the dough out of the fridge and use a knife to cut small, equal portions and, using your hands, make small half-moon shapes (or whatever shape you like best!).
- Place them on a baking tray or rack lined with paper or a silpat.
- Place them in the oven preheated to 180º degrees (air) for 8-10 minutes.
- Sprinkle with icing sugar
